Responsibilities:
This position assists Electricians with installation, repairs and maintenance of electrical systems.
Ø Assists with installation, repairs, maintenance and troubleshoots of electrical systems.
Ø Assists with blue prints, runs conduit, wires devices, troubleshoots and performs quality control testing.
Ø Assists with reading mechanical and electrical drawings and code specifications for determining wiring layouts.
Ø Assists with troubleshoots, tests and repairs emergency generators and various electrical systems and power distribution systems to ensure that they are working properly.
Ø Assists with runs tests, isolates problems, replaces damaged section of wiring, and layout circuit.
Ø Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Ø High School Diploma is required; prefer some trade or technical school classes.
Ø Electrician apprenticeship.
ØAbility to follow direction & Ability to read and understand blueprint that details electrical devices need to be installed.
Ø Ability to look for issues and be a capable problem solver.
Ø Organized and analytical.
Ø Ability to act on instructions and work well with others.
Ø Skill in both verbal and written communication.
