Salary Range: Starting at $17.55 hourly.

What You’ll Do:
- Responsible for responding immediately to residents’ requests.
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), according to their plan of care, individual needs, and care preferences.
- Notify Supervisor of changes in residents’ conditions or needs.
- Maintain facility standards for resident care
- Assist with service in the dining room for all meals as needed. Maintain facility standards for service and customer focus techniques.
- Inform nurse responsible for the care of resident and document duties performed as necessary before leaving for break or end-of-shift.
- Assist with and chart medications as prescribed by physician and assigned by Resident Care Manager.
- Arrives to work on time, regularly, and works as scheduled, responsible for own transportation.
- Utilizes timekeeping system.
- Observes and practices confidentiality of resident information and privacy when performing job duties.
- Recognizes and follows the dress code of the facility including always wearing name tag.
- Attends facility meetings, staff meetings, and required or preferred in-services.
- Generates and develops ideas which improve the quality of care for residents or increase position productivity and satisfaction.
- Performs all position duties according to safety rules and practices required for this position, and as required to ensure the general safety of staff, residents and visitors to this facility.
- Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of all policies and procedures and ability to reference them.
- Exhibits the highest level of customer service for residents, staff and visitors.
- Consistently demonstrates the ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner to meet current needs, such as reprioritizing work as necessary
- Performs other duties as assigned by management staff or Administrator.
What You’ll Need:
- Eighteen (18) years of age required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- NYS HHA Certification by an approved basic training program in home health aide services approved by the Department of Health and written evidence of such certification.
- Must maintain current annual skills testing approval.
