Editorial Production Specialist

The Editorial Production Specialist is an essential member of the firm’s Marketing team, with two key responsibilities:
- Management of the Editorial team’s projects and its overall workflow
- Editorial direction for a wide range of digital and print content
In carrying out these duties, the Editorial Production Specialist works closely with colleagues on the Editorial team and in other Marketing & Business Development functions, including digital, graphics, practice development, and research. As needed, they may also communicate with consulting staff at different levels.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Workflow trafficking and project management for the Editorial team, including coordination with other Marketing & Business Development teams
- Proofreading, copyediting, and quality control for the complete range of written collateral Analysis Group produces, including:
- Articles, white papers, Q&As, and other thought leadership
- Corporate and practice area brochures and website content
- Consultant and affiliate bios and CVs
- Qualifications statements and other business development-related materials
- Press releases
- Internal and external emails and PowerPoint presentations
- Human Resources and Recruiting brochures, website content, and social media postings
- Serving as a trusted resource to other team members on questions of editorial style and judgment
- Light writing duties as-needed, such as bios, case write-ups, publication summaries, and event and award announcements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- An ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of relevant substantive experience
- Outstanding proofreading, copyediting, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated project management skills, and an aptitude for recognizing and addressing issues that may impede or stall project workflow
- Prior experience in a professional services firm is strongly preferred
- Ability to adapt to house style and comfort with very high-quality standards; familiarity with Chicago Manual of Style preferred
- Maturity and diplomacy in interacting with Marketing & Business Development colleagues and, as needed, consultants, including senior staff and experts whose primary responsibility is to clients
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including proficiency with Microsoft Word
- Familiarity with project management software such as Monday.com strongly preferred
- Strong intellectual curiosity; ability to think logically and deal with complex, often technical material
- Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment
