Position Overview:
The Executive in Residence Intern will work directly with the founder to support and advance the organizations mission. This fully remote internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in leadership, strategic planning, and organizational development.The intern will play a pivotal role in recruiting, training, and developing college students while contributing to impactful initiatives aimed at mobilizing student leaders nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Collaboration:
Partner with the founder to develop and execute mission-aligned strategies
Assist in organizational planning, goal setting, and decision-making.
Recruitment and Outreach:
Design and implement virtual recruitment campaigns targeting college students across over 100 colleges and universities.
Build relationships with campus organizations and academic institutions to expand reach.
Training and Development:
Contribute to the creation and facilitation of virtual training programs for student leaders.
Support the development of leadership and professional growth initiatives.
Project Management:
Coordinate virtual events, workshops, and initiatives to engage and mobilize college students.
Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Maintain communication with college administrators, student organizations, and external partners.
Represent Voice Up Publishing in virtual networking and public engagements.
Qualifications:
Current undergraduate, graduate student, or recent graduate with an interest in leadership, organizational development, or social impact.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
Passion for the mission of Voice Up Publishing and a commitment to empowering students to transform their communities.
Experience with recruitment, training, or event coordination is a plus.
