Job Description

The key responsibilities of the Mechanical Project Manager are:

  • Plan, execute, and oversee mechanical engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
  • General Building and Construction knoweldge
  • Develop project schedules, milestones, and deliverables while managing risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with engineers, designers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare status reports for senior management and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company standards, and safety guidelines.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Mechanical Project Manager will have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in project management within the mechanical, construction, or engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC, piping, and structural components.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and regulatory compliance.
