Responsibilities
Inspects equipment to locate and determine the extent of necessary repairs and the corrective actionnecessary.
Perform repairs with limited departmental supervision with higher level of responsibility for repair.
Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
Successfully complete appropriate training sessions as required.
Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluidchecks.
Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostics tools and schematics.
Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as needed.
Assemble and disassemble engines and related equipment for inspection and repair.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely and effectively during repairs.
Conduct inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
Demonstrate safe and proper application of hand, pneumatic and electric tools.
Perform tasks from verbal/written instructions and communicate effectively with Equipment Managerand fellow employees.
The essential functions of this role include:- wearing steel toe shoes
- manual lifting up to 50lbs
- standing for 12 hours at one time
- working weekends
