Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Systems Engineer to design, implement, and manage complex IT systems that drive business efficiency and innovation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of system architecture, integration, and troubleshooting, coupled with a passion for solving complex technical challenges.

• System Design & Architecture: Develop, configure, and optimize system infrastructures to meet business objectives and performance requirements.
• Implementation: Deploy, test, and maintain software and hardware solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Monitoring & Maintenance: Oversee the health, performance, and security of systems by establishing robust monitoring and maintenance practices.
• Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous availability.
• Automation: Design and implement automated workflows to streamline processes and reduce manual intervention.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, network engineers, and business analysts, to ensure systems meet user and business needs.
• Compliance: Ensure all systems comply with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Upgrades & Scalability: Plan and execute system upgrades, expansions, and migrations to support organizational growth.
• Research & Innovation: Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and reliability.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, IT infrastructure, or a related role.
• Proven expertise in systems integration, network architecture, and server administration.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs).
• Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform).
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Experience with database systems (SQL, MySQL, Oracle).
