Operations Line Trainer - Plymouth
Position Summary:
Provide structured On-The-Job training to new hires and cross-training to current employees. Train the knowledge and skills necessary for an employee to learn to effectively perform their job. Ensure compliance to safety, quality and operations processes.
DAYS: Monday - FridayHOURS: 8am - 4:30pm
What you will do as an Operations Line Trainer:
Train documented policies, procedures, processes and work instructions.Follow detailed checklists to ensure consistency in training.
Monitor trainee's progress and determine whether the trainee understands presented material and has met training objectives.
Provide feedback using effective feedback methods.
Coordinate with Lead and Supervisor to help determine equipment scheduling during training time.
Understands and models' policies and expectations of employees at all times.
The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed:
Required: High school diploma or GED
5+ years Operations experience.Thorough knowledge of policies, procedures, processes and work instructions.
Strong knowledge of documentation requirements.
Must complete "Train the Trainer" module.
Preferred: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or other similar software.Propel or SAP experience is a plus!
Experience working in Microsoft Suite, specifically in Excel tracking data.Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
Other: Up to 100% sitting, standing and walking in an 8-hour workday, more if working overtime
Ability to continuously wear personal protective equipment and/or clean room attireAbility to work overtime as required
Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
Ability to operate power tools/equipment and hand tools
Ability to work with or around chemicals
Ability to use a microscope
Production areas, around production equipment and materials that may require safety training and the use of personal equipment.
