Emergency Room Registered Nurse - ERRN24-14152

Pay: $55/hr. to $62/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Provide critical care to patients in emergency situations.
• Assess and prioritize medical and mental health needs for patients of all ages.
• Respond quickly to trauma situations and deliver specialized care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Float within the department as needed (Adult, Peds, IMC).

Requirements:

• Current CPR Health Care Provider Certification (Required).
• Minimum of 18 months of nursing experience in an ED setting.
• ED experience within the past six months.
• Strong clinical knowledge and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication abilities with patients, families, and staff.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
• BLS (AHA).
• ACLS (AHA).
• NIHSS.
• PALS (AHA).

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Strong experience with Stroke, Sepsis, and STEMI patients.
• Ability to handle a high patient volume (up to 220 patients per day, with up to 20 stroke patients per shift).
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity ED environment.
