A growing construction company in South Florida is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the day-to-day operations of various construction projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with Project Managers, helping to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in project management and gain hands-on experience in the construction industry.
Job Description- Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating all phases of construction projects.
- Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and help resolve problems as they arise.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and meeting minutes.
- Support cost management, budgeting, and forecasting efforts.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Attend site meetings, inspections, and assist with field operations as needed.

The Successful Applicant- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in construction, preferably in project management or related roles.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of construction methods, codes, and regulations.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
