Material Planner
A Material Planner is needed for a multinational manufacturing company that produces and distributes trucks, buses and construction equipment, as well as marine and industrial drive systems in the Shippensburg, PA area. This role is responsible for managing procurement, inventory control, and inbound logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of production parts, optimizing material planning, and collaborating with various departments to resolve supply issues and meet production demands.

responsibilities:
- Review and release Purchase Orders and Schedule Agreements.
- Oversee rework and non-conforming material.
- Set appropriate safety days, stock levels, and reorder points through analysis.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and take corrective action when necessary.
- Implement actions to improve supplier delivery precision.
- Review planning reports, analyze information, and update plans to meet demand.
- Ensure accuracy of supply orders before distributing to manufacturing or suppliers.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent required.
- At least 1-3 years' experience in Logistics Management, Inventory control, Procurement or Material Planning environment.
