Transportation Supervisor

The Transportation Supervisor supervises daily transportation activities and personnel to ensure functions are performed according to our standards and guidelines.
You will work from Monday - Friday, from 10 am - 6:30 pm.

Responsibilities:
You will:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the transportation department
- Develop and monitor delivery schedules and routes for efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations
- Manage the performance and development of transportation staff
- Monitor and optimize transportation costs and budgets
- Implement safety protocols and training programs for drivers
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to streamline operations
- Resolve customer complaints and issues related to transportation services
Qualifications:
You have:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Previous experience in transportation, preferably with a related industry
- Supervisory experience is strongly preferred
- Class A driver's license is preferred
- Thorough knowledge of material handling equipment and traffic management.
- A good working knowledge of government regulations about transportation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A working knowledge of Smartdrive and Roadnet is a plus
