We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Los Angeles, California. As an integral part of our team, you will handle the processing of customer applications, maintain accurate customer records, monitor customer accounts, and resolve customer inquiries.

• Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Maintenance of precise customer credit records
• Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions
• Resolving customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Ensuring all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and corporate accounts payable files are updated and accurate
• Handling the preparation of scheduled payments by accruing expenses and assigning account numbers when necessary
• Maintaining access to accounts by keeping information confidential
• Completing payments to vendors by scheduling and preparing checks
• Resolving invoice or payment discrepancies and documentation
• Ensuring credit is received for outstanding memos • Must possess proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes
• Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of invoices
• Experience with data entry and general accounting procedures
• Knowledge of relevant accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP
• Familiarity with general ledger coding
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills for interacting with vendors and employees
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred
• Prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
