Thermal Spray Design Engineer

Industrial Equipment Supplier that specializes in the Thermal Spray Coating Industry in Middlesex is seeking a Direct Hire Thermal Spray Design Engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with Operation Manager and Thermal Spray Operator to resolve day to day technical and production

• Design tooling and fixturing in AutoCAD and Solidworks to optimize the spray process and production time.
• Interprets customer and company technical drawings to ensure products are manufactured in accordance with

• Create job routers in ERP system based on manufacturing process requirement.
• Create supporting documentation for routers (i.e., drawings, process control sheets, etc.)
• Active participant in continuous improvement activities through research, testing and identification of improved

• Participates as a key contributor on project to establish the robust process and production plan
• Works independently and makes technical decisions based on full awareness of viability, cost, and safety.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance for the identification, planning, and execution of new as well as

• Perform metallography and adhesion testing as required.
