Consider before submitting an application:

This position is expected to start around May 2025 and continue through the Summer term (approximately August 2025) or into Fall 2025 if available and there is an opportunity to do so. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships.

Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program. Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for full-time positions, not internships.

International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

If you are excited about writing code to make things move, tinker with electronics and motors to affect a change in the physical world and enjoy the grind and reward of working across multiple disciplines while rooted in software, an integration engineer internship in the chassis systems is for you.

Our team is a combination of software engineers, mechatronics engineers, and vehicle dynamics engineers. We work on challenging problems that span safety-critical software, embedded systems, motor controls, electronics actuation, and vehicle dynamics.

  • Software-PCBA-actuator debugging on various test beds and in-vehicle
  • Embedded C prototyping to evaluate actuator behavior under various conditions
  • Test development to evaluate production chassis software
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field of study with a graduation date between August 2025-August 2026
  • Embedded C experience through internships, school projects, or student design clubs
  • Electrical engineering fundamentals with prior experience designing PCBAs, preferred
  • Experience with networked micro-controllers, CAN or other vehicle networking protocols, preferred
  • Experience with Python programming is a plus
  • Knowledge of version control (Git) and continuous integration (Jenkins), preferred
