The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD (“The HARRIS CENTER”) is looking for a Certified Family Partner, Lead. The Lead Certified Family Partner will uphold the mission, vision and values of The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD. The Lead Certified Family Partner will ensure the non-clinical view of Peer Services is a value to those we serve as well as the staff they work with.

What you will do:

  • Assign each teams monthly support group facilitator
  • Provide weekly coaching, or more if needed
  • Mentor Family Partner staff
  • Facilitate monthly team meetings
  • Maintain a caseload not to exceed 50 families
  • Maintain 20 unduplicated face to face contacts and 95% timeliness of data
  • Work with Lead Peer Specialist and Program Manager for Peer Services to facilitate NEO training, Peer and Family Partner monthly meeting and Quarterly forums.
  • Report to Program Manager weekly

What qualifications you will need:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D Equivalent
  • Must be a Master’s or Associate’s level Certified Family Partner
  • In good standing with the credentialing agency for Certified Family Partners in the state of Texas.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Have knowledge of Systems of Care.
  • Work well within office and field settings.
  • Be able to follow the Policy and Procedures of The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD
