Responsibilities:
The Vice President of Regional Retail Distribution will be a Senior leader who will work with the Head of Distribution and our Regional Retail AVPs to lead our regional teams and foster profitable meaningful relationships with regional and local partners.This leader will collaborate with our VP of National Retail Distribution to execute our National Retail Relationship Strategies at regional and local levels, driving success and profitable growth with our $1 Billon and growing Retail Distribution Channel.
Responsibilities
Regional Distribution leadership- Drive overall strategic direction of our Regional Distribution, leading our Regional AVPs and Directors.
- Work with Regional Management to optimize our Regional and Territory Manager footprint.
- Collaborate and coordinate with Regional management to make sure relationships are working at a regional and local level.
- Drive regional relationships and local retail relationships. Collaborate and coordinate with our VP of National Retail Distribution to ensure effective regional and local relationships.
- Collaborate with the Head of Distribution and Regional Leadership to implement and execute profitable growth strategies with our retail agents.
- Candidate needs a solid understanding of small commercial insurance and to learn Guard’s appetite in small commercial.
- Collaboration with Head of Distribution, VP of National Retail, and our Regional Leadership to develop winning strategies.
- Ensure effective communication between different departments (distribution, underwriting, marketing, product, and claims) to build strong retail relationships.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s) for our Regional and local retail relationships.
- Provide regular updates to the Head of Distribution and other executives.
- Identify areas for improvement, develop and implement sales initiatives, monitor sales performance, and ensure Territory Managers are focusing their energy on the right agents.
- Ensure timely execution and successful implementation of projects.
- Implement standard operating procedures to identify opportunities and make recommendations.
- Coordinate preparation of quarterly presentations and monthly reporting to key Regional Retail partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to identify opportunities.
- Develop mechanisms to summarize regional and local competitive intelligence to present to Management.
Salary Range
$150,000-$260,000.00 USD with performance-based bonus potential
The annual base salary range posted represents a broad range of salaries around the U.S. and is subject to many factors including but not limited to credentials, education, experience, geographic location, job responsibilities, performance, skills and/or training.
Qualifications:
- Ideal candidate has a minimum of 15+ years experience mostly in commercial insurance.
- Has excellent communication skills as this candidate will often need to be representing our company to our retail partners.
- Candidate has excellent writing skills.
- Candidate is a team player.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Power BI is a plus
