Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide technical assistance to internal and external cus-tomers and ensure timely and cost-effective support in accordance with guidelines. Each day, you will contribute to customer satisfaction by executing support work according to customer expectations.You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring customer retention by delivering superior customer experience
The work model for the role is: #LI -Onsite with core hours 9am – 4pm
This role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation Machine Automation division in Al-pharetta, GA. Main stakeholders are our internal and external customers.
You will be mainly accountable for:- Displaying clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility and knowing how to communicate that to customers.
- Identifying opportunities (while supporting customers) to address any additional concerns and reporting those opportunities to the account team through local business processes.
- Recognizing technical problems and analyzing them through communication with customers and remote connections to assets for a limited range of services and products.
- Taking actions to identify new Service business opportunities for ABB, in close cooperation with customer and other ABB teams.

Qualifications for the role- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, electri-cal engineering, mechatronic engineering or related technical field required.
- Application development experience in a high-level language desirable, but not required.
- Interest and/or exposure in the following areas are preferred: motion control systems, IEC 61131 programming languages (ladder diagram, structured text), Windows operating systems, real-time operating systems, PC- and PLC-hardware applications, mechanical and electrical systems and physics.
- Domestic and international travel; up to 10% in North America; occasional International. Travel can include short-notice service trips (1-5 day duration, typically less than 3 days). In addition, occasional training or internal meetings at other company locations; a valid US passport and no travel limitations is required.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US. NO Sponsorship available.
