Accounts Receivable Specialist

This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications and maintain customer credit records
• Employ your skills in NetSuite, a top requirement for this role, for efficient and effective management of accounts
• Handle cash applications accurately and promptly, ensuring all cash transactions are recorded
• Conduct regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
• If necessary, engage in collections activities to recover overdue payments
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Ensure all transactions are reviewed thoroughly, despite the volume of transactions
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions for future reference and auditing purposes
• Collaborate with the team in reviewing and improving current systems and processes
• Assist in other accounting functions as needed.

• Proficiency in Accounting Functions and Accounts Receivable (AR) management.
• Proficient in using NetSuite for various accounting tasks.
• Experience with Cash Applications and their relevant procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in a similar role will be advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
