As they continue to expand their footprint across Western Massachusetts, they are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join their team and lead projects from the ground up.

Job Description

Superintendent

  • Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the field operations for the ground-up mixed-use project.
  • Coordinate daily activities of subcontractors and construction teams.
  • Ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage safety on-site, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
  • Maintain strong communication with the project team, including project managers, engineers, and clients.
  • Oversee scheduling, progress tracking, and material management.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and resolve issues.
  • Assist with project documentation and reporting as required.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and subcontractors.

The Successful Applicant

Superintendent - Ground Up / Mixed Use - Greenfield, MA - Will have
  • 6-10 years of experience as a Superintendent, with a proven track record in managing ground-up mixed-use or commercial construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Experience with overseeing large teams and managing multiple subcontractors.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices on construction sites.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and think critically under pressure.
  • Familiarity with construction management software is a plus.
  • Willingness to be on-site for the duration of the project in Greenfield and throughout Western MA.
  • Valid driver's license (company truck and gas card provided).
  • Must be able to work on-site; no hybrid or remote options are available for this role.

  • $90,000 - $125,000 base salary plus 10% discretionary bonus.
