Oakmont Gardens is seeking a highly-motivated dining room server to join our team. As a dining room server at Oakmont Gardens, you will play a vital role in providing an excellent dining experience for our residents. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving meals, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the dining area is clean and presentable.
Your energy and positive attitude will ensure our residents enjoy an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities- Greet residents and guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take and serve food and drink orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure the dining area is clean and presentable at all times
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the dining room before and after meals
- Maintain knowledge of menus, daily specials, and meal options
- Follow safety and sanitation procedures when handling and serving food
- Handle any resident complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Previous experience in food service or customer service preferred
- Friendly and outgoing personality, with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, as scheduled by management
