We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Receptionist in New Rochelle, New York. This role is pivotal in the healthcare industry and involves managing patient interactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting clerical duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients upon arrival, providing a positive and professional first point of contact
  • Handle cash transactions and manage insurance information, ensuring all payments and policies are up-to-date and recorded accurately
  • Utilize medical software such as Allscripts, EHR SYSTEM, and Medisoft for patient data tracking and billing functions
  • Maintain and update patient records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
  • Assist in the management of clinical trial operations, contributing to the smooth running of research activities
  • Handle clerical responsibilities such as filing, categorizing, and sorting charts to keep patient records organized and easily accessible
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally, using excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Assist with paperwork management, ensuring all forms are correctly filed and readily available when needed
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for the creation of charts and graphs, providing visual representations of patient data
  • Support chiropractic procedures, understanding the unique needs and requirements of this specific healthcare field. • Proficiency in software including Allscripts, EHR SYSTEM, Medical software, Medisoft, and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to perform Billing Functions effectively
  • Experience with Charts - Graphs interpretation
  • Familiarity with Chiropractic practices
  • Knowledge of Clinical Trial Operations
  • Ability to work with Insurance processes
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
