Ford Caputo Veterinary Hospital in Redford, Michigan is an AAHA-accredited hospital that services dogs and cats. We offer a variety of general practice services including routine surgeries, ultrasound, dental, laser therapy and more! The best part is, we LOVE to teach. We foster an environment where our we empower the team to continue to learn and grow.
We have recently incorporated Canine Rehabilitation Therapy to our list of services. We have an area of our hospital dedicated to patients that are post-surgical recovery, suffer from age related mobility issues, IVDD and more. Our doctor uses a multi-model approach with massage, manipulation, strengthening equipment, laser therapy and electrical stimulation to aid the healing and recovery process.
We recently grew our technology to include Scribe Note. Scribe Note is the new artificially intelligent technology that records conversations with clients and turns it into veterinary medical documentation with just one click. It saves our veterinary professionals lots of time on charting. That's a win for everyone!
As doctors converse with clients about their pet and verbalize their history and examination, Scribe Note captures pertinent details and creates a remarkably accurate transcribed note. The transcribed note can be edited and then copied into the hospital’s practice management system.
At the core of our work is our values. These include Doing the right thing when no one is watching, Team Work (Together Everyone Achieves More), Accountability - Do what you say and say what you do, Continuous Improvement and Service - every interaction matters.
Our culture is what sets us apart from other hospitals. Our leadership team is responsible for creating a culture that embraces MVP's core values. Our team embraces continual improvement of patient care and provide the best support staff to our doctors.
We understand the importance of mental health within the vet med industry. We don't require you to work overtime and offer a 4 day work week. Leadership provides snacks for those crazy days you get the 3 pm need for a "pick me up". We also understand that our staff has pets too.We do allow you to bring your pet to work on those long days, so they can have potty break.
We also have a mental health room that is secluded from the main hospital if you need to step away for a moment. It is set up to be cozy and even has a heated blanket and a cot if you just need to take a moment for yourself.
