Summary

As a full-time Professional Services Systems Engineer (L3) Solutions, you will use your knowledge, problem solving skills and expertise to successfully implement new technologies within approved timelines and budgets exercise leadership in technology best practices while interacting with clients and team members

This is an onsite, full-time (M-F, 7am - 5pm) position with occasional evening/weekend work for time sensitive projects.

Daily you will proactively:

• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and on budget
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Build net configurations and connections
• Establish networking environments by designing system configuration and directing system installation
• Define, document and enforce system standards
• Design and implement new network solutions and/or improve the efficiency of current networks
• Install and configure network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP technical skills
• Configure firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security
• Configure and install backup solutions for data protection, disaster recovery and failover procedures
• Perform major system and application upgrades
• Support other team members with occasional coverage needs

To thrive in this role you must have:

• The ability to lift up to 50lbs related to equipment transport and set up
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and or a minimum of 5 years working in a relevant information technology (IT) sector
• Hands on advanced experience in Windows client and server operating systems, PowerShell/Scripting, Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory Management, firewalls, switching, routing, SANs/storage, server hardware, Exchange, backup technologies, and Certificate Services
• Proactive in keeping up with industry trends and standards
• Strong communication skills, professional and technical, verbal and non-verbal
