PLC Technician

Principal Accountabilities

Troubleshoot automation related issues with production line equipment via the use of PLC interface software.
Work closely with the Production and Electrical Maintenance to achieve company goals
Record all work into the online issue tracking software SAP.
Complete individual assignments relating to optimization/improvements of existing equipment and implementation of new equipment.
Overtime and some travel may be required.
Comply with all federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations and requirements.
Comply with company policies.
Possess high degree of initiative, creativity, communication skills, self-supervision, and respect for safety requirements.
Must be a team player & work closely with maintenance, production, engineering, and outside services.
Mainly a daywork schedule but could possibly be adjusted depending on the business needs.
