Sr. Supply Chain Manager, WW Books
The US and CA Amazon Books Operations team is looking for a customer-focused, driven and analytical leader to build and execute a strategic, cross-functional roadmap related to product availability. This role provides the opportunity to work with global teams and ability to influence cross-marketplace initiatives.
The Sr. Supply Chain Manager will own a roadmap that aims to drive supply chain efficiencies and maximize sales, margin and turns, working in a consultation capacity. This role is critical to manage and optimize a complex procurement system and prevent out of stocks.The ideal candidate is able to lead and influence both internal and external teams in an ambiguous environment, while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
Key job responsibilities- Build technical expertise in supply chain optimization systems
- Build and execute a strategic, cross-functional roadmap related to buying and forecasting
- Leverage new and existing mechanisms to manage your roadmap
- Work and liaise with internal, external, and partner stakeholders
- Leverage data to make recommendations and decisions in order improve the customer experience
- Own multiple projects domestically and in a WW setting
- Set goals and manage performance against key operational metrics
- Deliver results vs team goals
- Write documents to support the progress of your roadmap- 5+ years of with Excel experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience working with complex data sets
- Experience owning an end to end program strategy, and communicating results to senior leadership- Experience with SQL
- Experience leading process improvement, systems development, and project management
- Bachelor's degree in operations, supply chain or logistics

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Amazon is a total compensation company.
