Part-Time Staff Accountant
This role will be part of our accounting department and will report our Assistant Controller. We are targeting 15-20 hours of work per week and this role will report out of headquarters in Grove City, OH. Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage and maintain the fixed assets register, including additions, disposals, and depreciation schedules.
- Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support the accounting team with general ledger reconciliations and journal entries.
- Collaborate on accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed.
- Contribute to the preparation of audit schedules and assist during internal and external audits.
- Participate in ad hoc financial analysis and reporting projects to support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards in all accounting activities
- Qualifications:
- Must have accounting experience or be actively enrolled in post-secondary accounting education (Required)
- General computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.
- Acceptable background and credit history check
- Detailed-oriented with strong organizational skills
