Job Description:

This includes applying for funding, ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions, monitoring project progress, and maintaining comprehensive and precise records.

Responsibilities:

1. Review both grant proposal and contract opportunities and examine requirements, deliverables, and budgetary stipulations.
2. Coordinate with internal teams, sponsors, and partners to prepare and present precise and comprehensive proposals or contracts.
3. Ensure compliance with all contractual terms and grant obligations.
4. Monitor project progress, ensuring milestones are met, and report to relevant parties.
5. Audit financial and performance reports for accuracy and completeness.
6. Assist in the negotiation of contract and grant terms and agreements.
7. Provide advice and guidance to project managers and other staff about contractual issues.
8. Coordinate with the finance team to ensure accurate budget allocation and spend in line with the grant/contract terms.
9. Prepare and maintain comprehensive and precise documentation of the grant contracts over its lifecycle.
10. Handle closeout processes and ensuring all contractual obligations have been met.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience (2-3 years) in grants and contracts administration.
2. Knowledge of federal regulations related to grants and contracts.
3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
5. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant/contract management software.
