Responsibilities:
Provides direct patient care and supportive services to patients with mental health disorders as well as chemically dependent patients to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients. Carries out a variety of patient care activities which support the maintenance of the therapeutic milieu and which meet the patient's needs for comfort and safety.May also perform the duties and responsibilities of an Emergency Department Technician.
Qualifications:
Required- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must hold American Heart Association’s Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Patient care experience in a hospital or inpatient mental health facility.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other behavioral health fields
- Associate’s Degree and Three (3) years’ experience in inpatient setting
- One (1) year of experience in the behavioral health field
- Five (5) years of experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting
Work Hours:: 7am-7pm
