Currently, we are seeking a Software Engineer to become a part of the HIROTEC Team. We are looking for a Full-Time employee.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Software Engineer will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between users and technical teams, leveraging their understanding of system functionality and user needs to recommend software enhancements and translate user requirements into actionable plans.

By collaborating closely with users, attending design committee meetings, and supporting proactive management efforts, they will contribute to the optimization of software systems and the enhancement of user experiences, enabling a more strategic and proactive approach to user support within the team.

The ideal candidate will perform the following:

  • Collaborate with users to understand their software needs and workflows, providing insights and suggestions for software enhancements that optimize productivity.
  • Attend design committee meetings to gather and analyze user requirements, translating them into technical specifications and actionable plans.
  • Assist in the proactive management of the team by supporting the manager in strategic planning and user engagement efforts, allowing for a more proactive approach to user support.
  • Analyze, define, and document comprehensive requirements for data, workflows, and system interfaces, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
  • Research and evaluate software and hardware solutions to inform programming decisions and enhance system capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications, plans, and documentation throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring clear communication and adherence to project timelines.
  • Collaborate with developers to design and code user interfaces, screen layouts, and system interfaces, facilitating seamless integration and user interaction.
  • Conduct testing and debugging activities, analyzing code and refining programs to meet functional requirements and user expectations.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to end-users and support staff, ensuring effective utilization of software solutions.
  • Monitor program performance post-implementation, identifying opportunities for optimization and refinement to enhance overall system effectiveness.
