Job Description

The Construction Estimator will be responsible for:

Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for commercial, industrial, and institutional construction projects.
Analyze project drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine scope and cost.
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitive pricing.
Develop budgets, cost strategies, and value engineering solutions.
Collaborate with project managers and executives to support preconstruction efforts.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, material costs, and industry best practices.
Assist in preparing proposals and bid presentations for potential clients.
Ensure compliance with company estimating procedures and industry standards.
Participate in project handoff meetings to transition estimates to the construction team.

The Successful Applicant

The Construction Estimator will possess:

5+ years experience
estimating software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Sage, or similar tools
Ability to review project documents and develop accurate cost estimates
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
Able to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently when needed.
