CWR Warehouse Associate I
- Location: North Haven, CT
- Shift Details: Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Pay Rate: $18/hr
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Warehouse Associate with at least two years of warehouse experience to join our team in North Haven, CT. In this role, you’ll be responsible for handling freight, scanning and staging items, receiving returns, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment & Shipping:
- Systematically scan and physically move items to the dock for truck routes.
- Receive returns, process them systematically, and put them away in the correct location.
- Unload trailers using pallet jacks and hand trucks (items range from 50-500 lbs).
- Staging & Assembly:
- Scan and stage items in proper lanes for the next day's routes.
- Peloton Assembly (training provided):
- Remove bikes (approx. 153 lbs) from pallets.
- Unbox and assemble bikes per SOP.
- Wrap and stage completed bikes.
- Warehouse Maintenance:
- Remove trash from the previous day’s operations.
- Sweep and maintain a clean, organized warehouse.
- Ensure the workspace is safe and accessible.
Requirements:
- At least two years of warehouse experience.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 lbs.
- Basic written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to load and unload trucks.
- Experience with handheld scanners is a plus.
- Availability for various shifts, including evenings and weekends, depending on freight volume.
Work Environment:
- This is not a climate-controlled building—expect hot summers and cold winters.
Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
