Job Description
  • Work with department members to maintain compliance with customer specifications.
  • Assist with inspections, including but not limited to in-process, final, visual, and physical testing
  • Assist and learn how to complete travelers and Source Substantiation Process Plans
  • Review technical data for jobs received for compliance and capability.
  • Assist in the oversight of the Quality Department
  • Assist quality inspectors in all customers (internal and external) related corrective action activities to ensure timely and effective closure.
  • Provide weekly updates to management on various projects.
  • Internal and external customer interface on quality issues
  • Learn and become proficient in production duties/operations.
  • Ensure parts are processed in accordance with specifications on work orders.
  • Monitor condition of equipment and recommend repairs or replacements, as necessary.
  • Provide a safe working environment by properly handling chemicals.

The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering technology, or associate's degree within similar field with 2+ years' experience.
  • 2+ years' experience working within the Aerospace Industry.
  • Supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Project management skills including the ability to handle multiple project simultaneously using Excel and or MS Project Software
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on a 'hands on' approach
  • Must possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of ISO9001/14001/NADCAP
  • Manufacturing/Industrial experience required
  • Must have experience interfacing with external customers
  • Must be capable of reading and interpreting drawings and specifications related to Aerospace Coating and materials

  • Base Salary: $100,000 - $130.000
