Responsibilities- Design, build, repair, and maintain tools, dies, molds, and jigs for use in manufacturing processes.
- Work from blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to create precision tools.
- Operate and maintain machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
- Ensure tools and dies are produced to exact specifications and adhere to quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair tooling issues on the production floor to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve tooling designs and manufacturing processes.
- Maintain accurate records of tool maintenance and repairs.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
