Accounts Payable Clerk

About Us: Our client is a leading construction company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. Our team is dedicated to excellence, and we’re looking for an AP Specialist who shares our commitment to success and attention to detail.
salary: $38,000 - $52,000 per yearshift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities- Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and code vendor invoices, matching them to purchase orders and delivery receipts for accuracy.
- Payment Management: Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire payments, ensuring compliance with company policies and deadlines.
- Vendor Communication: Maintain positive relationships with vendors, addressing payment inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and obtaining lien waivers as required.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy in the general ledger.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies, maintaining proper records and documentation for audit purposes.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze AP reports, such as aging reports and expense summaries, to provide insights to management.
