Summary:

The Manufacturing Engineer IV develops, reviews and evaluates manufacturing processes, working with the engineering and production teams on product design and tooling to ensure that manufacturing goals are achieved safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, build, and refine production/manufacturing engineering processes, partnering with engineering and production teams on product design and tooling to ensure efficient production processes
  • Investigate new manufacturing and tooling methods
  • Assist in establishing manufacturing and assembly processes for new production programs
  • Design new manufacturing fixtures for new and existing products
  • Work with the engineering and the production teams on product design and tooling to ensure efficient production processes
  • Integrate new products and product refinements into production
  • Develop manufacturing processes related to assembly and automation
  • Determine the manufacturing processes required to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Generally eight (8) years or more of experience in a specialized functional discipline
  • Engineering (Bachelor's degree) or Related Field of Study (Bachelor's degree)
  • Applicable experience in lieu of a Degree may be considered.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
