Alluvio IQ is the next-generation Enterprise Unified Observability SaaS delivered by Riverbed to the largest companies in the world. IQ is built and deployed using cutting-edge technologies in Azure Cloud. We are looking for a back-end senior software engineer to help us grow the product.This is an exciting opportunity to develop a brand-new world-class product that just went GA.
What you will do:
- Work with latest technologies in Azure and AWS
- Develop and test new/existing features in the Alluvio IQ SaaS
- Use and create IaC and CI/CD pipelines to deliver these features
- Design new features and lead technical discussions on those features
What makes you an ideal candidate:
- BS/MS degree in a technical field
- At least 5 years of experience developing commercial software
- Experience with enterprise-class software development
- Experience with building applications in AWS or Azure
- Experience with microservice and serverless function based architectures
- Experience in designing secure, scalable authentication and authorization solutions for cloud-based micro-services
- Strongly self-motivated to make the product better by bringing innovative ideas and insights to the team
- Experience with C# or another statically typed language
- Experience writing CRUD style APIs and OpenAPI specifications
- Experience with cloud/micro-services especially Azure and AWS
- Experience with infrastructure as code using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform or ARM, and continuous deployment
- Familiarity with auth standards such as OIDC, Oauth, and SAML
- Understanding of authorization models like RBAC and ABAC
- Practical understanding of public-key encryption
- Practical knowledge of networking (e.g. debugging packet captures with WireShark)
- Ability and desire to pick up new technologies
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
