Systems Administrator

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and support both Windows and Linux operating systems across devices and servers.
• Provide hardware and software support for Zebra printers and other essential manufacturing equipment.
• Oversee and support Supply Chain Management software (e.g., Epicor ERP) to enhance efficiency and streamline operations.
• Facilitate and maintain EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) processes, ensuring smooth data exchanges between systems.
• Perform regular system monitoring, updates, and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments for optimal IT support across the organization.
• Document configurations, procedures, and best practices for future reference and consistency.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and IT resources within the Microsoft Suite and related software systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 5+ years of IT support experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Proficiency in ERP systems for supply chain settings, such as Epicor ERP or similar software.
• Strong expertise with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with EDI processes and data integration.
• Hands-on experience with Zebra printers and similar production floor technology.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate independently in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a dedication to customer service excellence.

Preferred Skills:

• Networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of SQL and database management.
• Knowledge of ITIL and IT service management best practices.
