Driller
What You'll Do:
- Performing standard penetrometer testing operations including performing borings and geoprobes
- Operating Geoprobe unit for the collection of soil and Con Penetrometer (CPT) data
- Locating borings in the field and recording all required drilling data
- Performing drill rig and support truck maintenance
- Troubleshooting mechanical problems including those of an electrical or hydraulic nature
- Planning daily schedule to meet productivity goals
- Training and mentoring the driller helper(s)
What We're Looking For:
- High School diploma or GED
- 2 – 4 years of experience
- Class A CDL and NCDOT Well Driller license
- Position requires carrying 40 – 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs to waist height
