We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Part Time Administrative Assistant in the Healthcare industry, located in ALLENTOWN, Pennsylvania. As a Part Time Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including monitoring customer accounts, processing applications, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently and accurately processing customer credit applications
  • Maintaining precise customer records
  • Monitoring online platforms for new admission referrals and acknowledging receipt
  • Updating staff on potential admissions on a daily basis through email
  • Communicating with other departments regarding new activities or referrals
  • Handling benefits requests by coordinating with the insurance verification team
  • Possessing strong typing skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrating good communication skills while interacting with patients and their families over the phone
  • Handling and reviewing confidential information with discretion

Requirements:

  • Good typing and attention to detail.
  • Excellent multitasking skills and the ability to handle a busy work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for internal and external communication, which could involve interactions with patients and their families over the phone.
  • Past experience in a similar role in the medical or related field would be beneficial.
  • Familiarity with medical transcription or medical terminology is a plus!

Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-1pm
