We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Part Time Administrative Assistant in the Healthcare industry, located in ALLENTOWN, Pennsylvania. As a Part Time Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including monitoring customer accounts, processing applications, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and accurately processing customer credit applications
- Maintaining precise customer records
- Monitoring online platforms for new admission referrals and acknowledging receipt
- Updating staff on potential admissions on a daily basis through email
- Communicating with other departments regarding new activities or referrals
- Handling benefits requests by coordinating with the insurance verification team
- Possessing strong typing skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrating good communication skills while interacting with patients and their families over the phone
- Handling and reviewing confidential information with discretion
Requirements:
- Good typing and attention to detail.
- Excellent multitasking skills and the ability to handle a busy work environment.
- Excellent communication skills for internal and external communication, which could involve interactions with patients and their families over the phone.
- Past experience in a similar role in the medical or related field would be beneficial.
- Familiarity with medical transcription or medical terminology is a plus!
Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-1pm
