We are currently seeking a Grants Management Specialist (remote) to work onsite with the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.

The US base salary for this full-time position is $40.00-$78.00/hr + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the National Institute of General Medical Sciences. The primary objective is to provide services and deliverables through performance of support services
  • Provides technical assistance developing and analyzing the organization's grant program.
  • Assists with reviewing grant applications and preparing responses.
  • Assists in analyzing and preparing reports to track status of awards and funding.
  • Creates and maintains a database for grant activities.
  • Performs queries, conducts analysis and produces reports.
  • Provides support and routine updates to staff.
  • Identifies grants that are ready for final processing.
  • Reviews and assembles completed documentation and identifies pending issues or changes.
  • Develops procedures for the grant review and approval process.

Qualifications:

Education: Minimum – Bachelor’s Degree
Field of Study: Business Management and Administration or General Business
Skills: Strong communication skills, both oral and written – Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills

Software: MS Office
