About Our Client
Our client is involved in custom-designed, precision hydraulic and fuel system components for civil and military fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, spacecraft, turbine engines, and special applications. Their products are on numerous commercial and military aircraft flying today.They include bootstrap reservoirs, valves, manifolds, actuators, swivels, and a host of special purpose, custom-designed components.
Job Description- Develop and implement automation strategies to optimize manufacturing processes, with a focus on machining operations, NC lathe, NC grinding, and multi-axis machining.
- Lead and oversee the integration of robotics, CNC automation, and process control technologies to improve operational efficiency and product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality, to ensure smooth automation implementation.
- Manage the selection, installation, and validation of automated machinery, robotics, and software systems to support manufacturing initiatives.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automated systems, machining operations, and process deviations.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in automation, CNC programming, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess automation effectiveness and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality requirements.

The Successful Applicant- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing automation, CNC machining, and process optimization within the aerospace industry or a similar high-precision environment.
- Strong expertise in NC lathe, NC grinding, CNC programming, and multi-axis machining.
- Hands-on experience with automation systems, robotics integration, and industrial control systems.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, G-code programming, and CNC machine troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
- Proven leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience with PLC programming, Fanuc/Siemens controllers, and robotic systems.
- Familiarity with aerospace quality standards (AS9100, NADCAP, etc.).
- Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or Automation Engineering.
