Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients, inventors, and other parties to gather necessary information and documents
- Manage the entire process of patent prosecution, including progress of IDFs, draft applications, and draft figures
- Organize and maintain client files, including electronic documents
- Conduct research to support patent prosecution and IP strategy
- Perform administrative tasks to help free up the principals’ time
Essential Skills:
- Strong written communication skills, including technical writing and legal redlines
- Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment with minimal supervision
- Basic familiarity with USPTO rules and patent prosecution processes
- Expert with Microsoft Office including OneDrive online
- Demonstrated interest in technology and fast-growing companies
