Job Description:
About the Role:The Machine Operator role at the Hanover location reports to the Packing Room Supervisor and takes day-to-day direction from the Lead Machine Operator. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
- Ensures that production standards are met by: operating all packing room machines at specified efficiency (speed). Packing room machines include: Hayssens, box machines, box tapers, stretch wrapper, diverter gates, case labelers and sonic sensors.
- Determines upcoming production needs by studying production sheet to anticipate changeovers and assigned products to machines. Uses this information to have correct film, co-dates, stickers, hot stamps, etc. ready for next order.
- Maintains specifications by observing operations, detecting malfunctions and inspecting product for pleats, leakers, holes, registration, and code-dates to keep within specified bag waste limits.
- Ensures product specifications by completing weight checks on packing lines.
- Other duties as assigned
Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role on 1st Shift, which operates from 7:00a to 3:00p Monday through Friday, and some Saturdays . $23.92/hr.

- Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written
- Experience in a manufacturing environment – food manufacturing a plus
- The ability to work overtime and weekends
