Staff Accountant

We are in search of a Staff Accountant to become a part of our client's team. Located in Collierville, Tennessee, this role involves ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations within our organization. As a Staff Accountant, you will have a crucial role in managing financial data, from processing payments to reconciling bank statements.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and record transactions in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial data accuracy
• Maintain and manage the General Ledger
• Prepare and post Journal Entries as required
• Conduct Month End Close activities, ensuring financial data is accurate and up-to-date
• Utilize NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage and analyze financial data
• Regularly review customer accounts and take necessary actions.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar position
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management
• Demonstrated ability to perform Bank Reconciliations accurately
• Solid understanding of General Ledger maintenance
• Experience in preparing and posting Journal Entries
• Familiarity with Month End Close procedures
• Working knowledge of NetSuite and Oracle financial software
• Proficiency in QuickBooks software
• Experience with SAP software is a plus
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
