Smokehouse Operator

Bilinski's Sausage Mfg. Co. is seeking a Smokehouse Operator for our fully cooked chicken sausage manufacturing operation in Cohoes, NY

Requirements include but are not limited to:

• Rolling large carts of hanging sausages (weighing ~500 lbs) into and out of smokehouses
• Tracking and recording cook times and temperatures
• Tracking and recording chill down time and temperatures
• Rotating racks of product efficiently to keep pace with our assembly and production lines
• Coordinating with the room supervisor on the schedule for the day
• Cleaning and inspecting the smokehouses and smokehouse area before and after daily production
• Ability to work in both hot and cold conditions
• Ability to fill in other key positions (such as spice blending) as needed

Rate: $22/hour going to $23/hr after 90 days (probationary period).

Plus an additional $1 shift differential for Saturday work!

NOTE: We have a no facial hair policy and no jewelry policy for all production and warehouse positions
