Position Overview: As an Accountant, you'll manage the company's financial operations, specializing in construction-specific accounting processes including certified payroll and minority reporting. You'll work closely with the Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily financial operations in QuickBooks Online (A/P, A/R, credit card transactions)
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
  • Execute certified payroll processing and minority reporting requirements
  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Implement and optimize accounting processes for maximum efficiency
  • Work independently while adhering to established procedures and best practices

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience as an Accountant or similar role
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel, required
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Self-motivated with a growth mindset
  • Proven ability to multitask

Preferred Skills:

  • Procore software experience
  • Experience in the construction industry
  • Experience with certified payroll and minority reporting
  • Construction-specific compliance knowledge
