Robert Half is working on a long term contract position with a local educational business in South San Francisco. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk for this assignment. You must enjoy heads down back office work for this role.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in using Excel, Google Suite, and alphanumeric data entry systems. The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and managing large volumes of data in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities:
- Input and maintain accurate data in Excel, Google Sheets, and other databases.
- Use Excel functions, formulas, and pivot tables to process and analyze data.
- Efficiently manage and organize alphanumeric data, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Perform regular data verification and cleanup to ensure data integrity.
- Create, update, and maintain spreadsheets, documents, and reports as required.
- Manage and organize digital files using Google Drive, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
- Work with team members to ensure data is entered correctly and promptly.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of data tracking systems.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Provide support with other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional data entry or administrative training is a plus.
- Proven experience in data entry, with proficiency in Excel
- Strong experience with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail).
- Excellent alphanumeric data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with large amounts of data.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
