Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter and verify invoices, accounting documents, and records
- Manage job costing for various locations
- Oversee day-to-day management of the payment cycle
- Create and record journal entries
- Reconcile assigned accounts
- Assist with Month-End close processes
- Assist with reporting as necessary
- Ensure payable deadlines are met through effective organization and adherence to company processes
- Use Microsoft Excel, SAP, and other tools to manage Accounts Payable (AP), Check Processing, Journal Entries, and Month End Close tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze data
- Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) to ensure efficient management of outgoing payments
- Knowledge of Check Processing for dealing with financial transactions
- Familiarity with SAP to streamline financial processes and transactions
- Ability to prepare Journal Entries for recording financial information in a systematic manner
- Experience with Month End Close procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with various departments and vendors
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all tasks
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
