We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a fast-paced, high volume litigation environment. You will provide critical administrative and clerical support to our legal team, ensuring the efficient and effective management of legal processes.

This will be a hybrid position, with attendance a minimum of three days per week at our Gilbert, AZ headquarters required.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, sort and prioritize a high volume of emails for review by the appropriate member of the legal team
  • Locate appropriate templates and prepare drafts of legal correspondence and basic contracts for attorney review
  • Manage and maintain electronic document systems, ensuring documents are properly labeled and filed, both for storage and production.
  • Assist paralegals with litigation holds and locating documents for responsive productions.
  • Coordinate legal calendars, schedule meetings, and docket/manage deadlines.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders and external third parties to manage expectations regarding status of claims

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal assistant role.
  • Proficiency with legal documentation and electronic document management systems (experience with implementing litigation holds and eDiscovery databases like Everlaw is a plus).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactivity and an unwavering attention to detail

Pay and Benefits

  • Compensation range depending on experience: $60,000-80,000/yr
